Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Sydney Schatz (pronounced like "shots") and I was born and raised here in North Idaho. I attended Eastern Washington University intending to be an athletic trainer, but like most college students, that was not the degree I graduated with. After quickly realizing that athletic training was not for me, I decided to follow my passion and make a career out of planning beautiful events (aka bossing people around). I received a bachelors degree in communications with an emphasis in business management and a leadership certificate. I then pursued certificates in wedding & event planning, event decor and corporate events.
I have been in this industry since 2014. In that time, I have been a coordinator for one venue and managed two others. I am very well versed in the world of weddings (some as large as 300 people), company holiday parties, and large corporate events (some as large as 800 people). I have been personally responsible for over 700 events so far in my career. I truly love what I do and I can not wait to meet you to plan the perfect and most harmonious event you have ever seen.
Other than planning events, I enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities with my husband such as rock climbing, dirt biking, hiking, and mountain biking. I also love to sit quietly some days with a good book. My husband and I met in college at the rock climbing wall, instantly clicked, and got married in the fall of 2018. We have a wonderfully spoiled fur baby whom we love very much named Kaiser. And in 2020, we welcomed a baby girl - Audrey Rae - into the world, and she is the light of our lives.
